Tender description

Northumberland County Council are advertising to seek tenders from suitable organisations through an Open procurement process under the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, to deliver Children's Centre Services within the South East and Central localities of Northumberland. This will include the delivery of Family Support services to enable work with families of children and young people aged 0-19 in a whole family way. This contract will be split into two Lots which represent each of the distinct localities: Lot 1 will cover Central Northumberland and Lot 2 will cover South East Northumberland. It is anticipated that this contract opportunity will be awarded to the successful Provider in December 2016. The Children's Centre Service contract with provide support for families with children pre-birth to five years as part of the children's centre offer and family support for children and young people aged 0-19 and their families taking a whole family approach. The Central locality comprises the following key areas: — Newbiggin; — Lynemouth; — Morpeth; — Pegswood; — Ashington; — Bedlington; — Choppington. The South East locality comprises the following key areas: — Blyth Central; — Blyth West; — Seaton Valley; — Cramlington West; — Cramlington Village; — Cramlington East.
