Mental Health Services Accredited List of Providers

Tender description

North Tyneside Council (‘the authority’) is seeking to accept providers for inclusion onto an Approved Providers List for the provision of Mental Health Services (‘the Service’). The providers will have an opportunity to provide any of the following range of services to residents of North Tyneside. North Tyneside Council have identified four broad areas in which these services can be categorised. The categories are as follows: 1) Supported Living / Home Support - Floating Support - Outreach - 1:1 Support - Group Support 2) Day Opportunities - 1:1 Support - Group Support - Day Service / community access 3) Employment / Volunteering Opportunities - Employment Support - Employability - Volunteering 4) Crisis Support - Beds / accommodation base - Community support These services are to be made available with the aim specific aim of improving the Mental Health of those service users whom access them. It is anticipated that these services will be made available to North Tyneside residents through an accreditation list. In order for an organisation to supply services through the accreditation list the organisation will be subject to a validation check. The list will then be made available to individuals from North Tyneside who have an identified need to improve their Mental Health / Mental Wellbeing. It is anticipated that individuals accessing services provided through the accreditation list will financially contribute to the service cost through either a Direct Payment (DP) or through an Individual Service Fund (ISF).
