Tender description

Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks bids from suitable service providers to supply General Practitioner (GP) Streaming and Primary Care Services within Emergency Services Department (ED). The Service is required to operate between the hours of 8:00 — 00:00 Midnight (16 hours per day/split between three shifts) 7 days per week including Public and Bank Holidays. The Service provider is required to provide two GPs together with an admin. reception staff member to attend the specified hours. This is an essential service necessary to enable the Trust to meet the 4 hour standard that. The service provider will be required to meet contract Key Performance Targets, and charges may apply should performance drop below target. The is an Open tender process, and bidders can obtain documentation on expression of interest through the Due North E-Tendering portal, and to submit bid prior to the submission deadline. Data relating to historical level of streaming is contained within the ITT for information purposes, and is given as an estimated level of demand only (and may therefore vary over the course of the contract). It is anticipated that the new contract will be in place for 1.7.2017, and that a minimum of 6 weeks notice will be provided prior to commencement of services date.
