Tender description

NHS Kernow is seeking to commission a nationally compliant, functionally integrated, Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) manual therapy service (excluding paediatrics) which is inclusive of physiotherapy, osteopathy & chiropractic treatment. The service will provide a single point of access to NHS funded treatment for eligible patients in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (IoS). The new model will simplify and improve the efficiency of the Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) manual therapy pathway and ensure equity of service provision in line with legislation, Department of Health, NHS England regulations and guidance. The service is intended to provide patients with access to the most appropriate form of treatment, at a place and time appropriate to the individual, in a designated outpatient clinic, within the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly boundary. NB. This PIN does not oblige NHS Kernow to proceed with a procurement process. Under Regulation 48 Directive: Section I of Part B of Annex V a PIN can either be a Prior Information Notice OR a Call for Competition. This is not a call for competition.
