Tender description

The Sentinel 3 SLSTR BBS Models C&D contract is a follow on order that was awarded to RAL in January 2016. The initial contract for models A&B was awarded to ABSL Space Products but after a contract novation in November 2014, RAL Space became responsible for the design, manufacture and delivery of the BBS models B. Subsequently RAL bid for, and won the follow on order models C&D. It is a requirement that ESA must approve the manufacturing processes and the individual products of all suppliers for this project.
