Tender description

Shetland Islands Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers who wish to be considered for the operation of an Inter-Island ferry service between Shetland mainland and Foula. The service consists of the operation of Inter-Island ferry service between Shetland mainland and Foula. It is anticipated that the successful Service Operator will utilise the existing ferry, M.V. New Advance, which will be provided by the contracting authority. Maintenance of the vessel and shore facilities is to be provided by the Service Operator in accordance with Shetland Islands Council specifications and conditions contained in or referred to in the procurement documents.
