6 x 60 min adaptation of a book This is a project that is of a far larger scale than the usual high-end BBC production. As such we will be looking to the VFX provider to embrace the ambition of this project and to collaborate with us. Involvement from the earliest stage will be a pre-requisite for this project. This will commence immediately after the offer has been made and contracts signed. It will involve collaborating with the Director and the Production Team to breakdown the VFX requirements, cost appropriately and rationalise the best way to approach them in order to get the maximum production value on screen. You will also be expected to advise on procedure, protocol and refining the workflow. In order to gain access to this tender you will need to submit a show reel to rebecca.chisholm@bbc.co.uk, that demonstrates your ability to deliver high quality visual effects. You will be invited to submit a proposal for the execution and delivery of: a) Development and pre-production materials/ assets. b) Based on the provided scripts a. a VFX breakdown b. a budget, c. a schedule, c) visual effect shots across the entire series, inc full matte painting, set extensions and plate enhancement, Meteorological enhancement – lightning, day becomes night etc. d) Delivery is required in two formats - • Offline Format - QuickTime for Avid • Online Format - full HD 1920 x 1080 25fps - (DPX) NOTE: Assets are required to be in deep storage archive for 6 months post delivery e) Project management and the delivery of the VFX for the duration of the production within the required schedule and budget constraints f) On-set supervision for appropriate sequences NOTE: The assumption is made, unless otherwise stated, that you intend to tender for the full contract.
