To replace and standardise the existing blood glucose monitoring system across the Acute and Primary Care in Southampton General Hospital and the surrounding area. This would include the provision of networked meters and an established middle-ware package to facilitate a full audit trail, competency checking, competency and quality control management and lock-out, and an interface to the existing Laboratory Information System or results server. All offers must provide the ability to undertake blood ketone measurement.
