Z/2610 ICEPS (NEQ) Enabling (Demolition Works)

Tender description

We intend to go out to tender on the 7th November for the below project; The works comprise of the demolition of the existing Estates Building and all associated out house buildings, including demolition of the ground floor slab and foundations. The existing Boiler House building is also to be demolished to ground floor slab and the existing basement is to be filled with 6F2. The bottom of the basement slab is to be punctured for drainage purposes. Asbestos strip works will be undertaken direct by the Client before demolition occurs. The Estates Building is constructed with a cast iron frame and masonry external and internal walls with a slate covered roof. The Boiler House is constructed with a steel frame with masonry walls and cladding to the external facades and a flat metal sheet roof. All hardstanding material is to remain as existing. There is a third existing building on the site, the Old Mining Building, which is listed and is to remain under these works.
