NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (Central Midlands) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver School Aged Immunisation Services for Bedfordshire. Immunisation is one of the most successful and cost effective public health interventions. High vaccination rates are key to preventing the spread of infectious disease, complications and possible early death among individuals and protecting the population’s health through both individual and ‘herd immunity’. Since the introduction of the childhood immunisation programme, levels of vaccine preventable infections in the UK have decreased significantly.
