Tender description
The London Borough of Hillingdon (Hillingdon) is running a tender competition for an agreement (the Contract) to provide the Replacement of communal boilers at Mandela Court, Heathfield Rise & Oakwood Road (the Works) The objective of this project is to engage a competent contractor to replace the existing boilers with new boiler systems for the purpose of providing reliable heating and hot water services to residents. In line with the LB of Hillingdon design brief, the project when complete will provide residents with efficient and reliable heating and hot water services to the blocks and dwellings, provide cleaner and quieter boiler operation on the estate and increase tenants’ satisfaction with their homes Mandela Court (1-30), Biko Close Cowley UB8 2LE - Mandela Court is a Sheltered Accommodation scheme comprising of 30 one-bedroom flats within the main building each with hallway, kitchen and showers. The shared facilities include; laundry, two lounges and kitchen. The heating plant room is located on the ground floor to the side of the building. Access to the plant room is via a double set of louvered doors. Heathfield Rise (3 -39), Ruislip HA4 7NF - Heathfield Rise is a General Needs Housing scheme comprising of 36 dwellings spread across two blocks. The heating plant room is located in a purpose built building between the two blocks of houses. Oakwood Road (9 - 39 ODD), Pinner HA5 3UD - Oakford Road Rise is a General Needs Housing scheme comprising of 20 houses spread across two blocks with an external brick-wall plant room. The heating plant room is located between the two blocks of houses.
