QU043 - Birmingham City Centre ANPR Camera Surveys - AWARD

Tender description

Birmingham City Council are seeking for organisation to deploy Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras at selected locations within Birmingham City Centre to capture the volume of vehicles; with an end destination in the city centre, exiting the city centre and vehicles passing straight through. The provision of additional cameras would collect and capture data to inform the evidence base by allowing comparison of traffic flows, trip patterns and movements and fleet composition/vehicle mix against national assumptions. This will assist with the validation of a city centre traffic model and ensure that the outputs from the air quality model are robust The contract will be for a period of 3 months.
