Tender description

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has a requirement for up to 10000 MRI scans outside of the current trust scanning capacity. The requirement is for reported mobile MRI scanning services for all of the ULHT sites, on an as and when required basis, as well as reported static MRI scanning services in Lincolnshire. The reporting of images is to be by GMC registered radiologists, and images and reports are to be uploaded onto ULHT image servers with an expected maximum turnaround of 7 days. The service is expected to be provided at tariff or less per scan, and a commitment is likely to be made for 2 years with an option to extend after that. We expect to approach the market via an OJEU in November 2016. Lot 1 of 2 lots will cover the mobile element. Lot 2 will cover thestatic element of the requirement (e.g. scans provided by a privately owned hospital or by more sophisticatedscanning equipment on a mobile unit).
