Tender description

Lewisham Construction Hub (LCH) will support local people and businesses to directly participate in, benefit from and contribute to, the economic growth generated by development in and around the borough. The core aim is to enable LB Lewisham to work with highly experienced and suitably skilled delivery partners to provide a seamless service that links Lewisham’s residents and business with the construction-linked training, learning, employment and contracting opportunities generated by development activity in Lewisham borough and the wider area. LCH will comprise a suite of service delivery functions, which must be delivered in a well-managed and highly-coordinated way and to the highest standards, in order to fully meet the needs of all users, including local resident and business beneficiaries, developers and contractors. The service will include, but is not limited to: Function 1: Pipeline Intelligence Gathering (Delivered by LBL) Function 2: Project & Contract Engagement (Delivered by LBL) Function 3: Construction Career IAG, Training, Apprenticeships & Employment Function 4: Local Supply Chain Support and Development Services Function 5: School Engagement (Service to be designed and procured at a later date).
