Tender description
NUI Galway wishes to invite Tenders from suitably experienced parties to assist in the delivery of the above Project. This ITT (Ref: NUIG/BUILD/016/14) is seeking the delivery of the Services. Following a detailed site suitability assessment process and the completion of a site specific feasibility study the University has selected a site on Earl's Island at the southern tip of the University campus for the development of a Water Sports Facility (WSF). For information purposes a copy of the feasibility study is included in the AIP accompanying this ITT. The Project will involve the demolition of a number of existing buildings (stone sheds, vacant factory type buildings) all of which are in poor condition and the construction of a new purpose built Water Sports Facility. The WSF will accommodate the needs of the 6 University water based sports clubs (and possibly one external rowing club) and will help realise the University's ambition in terms of participation in water based sports
