Tender description

North of England Commissioning support (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and is managing this procurement process for and on behalf of NHS England North (Cheshire & Merseyside) (The Contracting Authority) NHS England are accountable for the provision of Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) in the Cheshire and Merseyside area and are proposing to commission an APMS contract for homeless people. The aim of the proposed service is to deliver a comprehensive Primary Medical Service for homeless patients. The procurement will look to appoint a Provider that has the capability and capacity to plan and deliver a range of services to address health issues within the homeless community. The contract will be offered over a 5 year period commencing on 1st October 2017. NHS England North (Cheshire and Merseyside) are hosting a market engagement event to discuss the proposed procurement of St Werburgh's Medical Practice for the Homeless. The event will primarily focus on but not be limited to the model of service and will invite views from providers on the potential service delivery models for the delivery of St Werburgh's Medical Practice for the Homeless. The event will be held on Friday 25th November from 12:00 — 14:00 at Room A & B 1829 Building, Countess of Chester Health Park, Liverpool Road, Chester, CH2 1HJ.
