Tender description

In support of DFID Nigeria's Business Plan, DFID will be seeking a service provider to deliver the successor Programme to the GEMS project. The selected service provider will be expected to deliver the programme's two pillars over (provisionally) the course of 5 years (2018-2023). Building on the successes and learning of GEMS the programme will aim to create jobs, raise incomes and increase potentially taxable private sector revenues. Taking a spatial approach, the project will focus on 3 states; Kano, Kaduna and Jigawa. This will be done through the facilitation of significantly increased (broadly defined) private sector investment in the states. In parallel, the second pillar will support the introduction, growth and uptake of business facilitating and innovative services, technologies and business models.
