Extension and variation to the contract for the provision of Employee Assistance Programme

Tender description

The current provision of an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) service: • Supports Treasury and its agencies employees and managers through confidential 24/7 telephone support lines; • Provides help and advice regarding personal and business related issues which could have an effect on their working life e.g. stress, bereavement, relationship issues, financial. legal and other issues; • Provides clear and timely advice to managers; • Provides counselling as needed; • Helps reduce sickness absence; • Provides managers with support and provide workshop training as required. • Provides a website providing much information on numerous related topics. The EAP provision includes use of qualified call handlers, counsellors and clinical leads. Their intervention help maintain the mental wellbeing of our staff and in turn, prevent absence e.g. due to stress.
