Tender description

Framework for the provision of engineering and technical consultancy services relating to, but not limited to, roads and structures, transportation and traffic, environmental engineering, land surveying, drainage and flooding, geotechnical and testing and project management. A full list of bodies entitled to participate in this framework are outlined in the ‘Scotland Excel Participating Bodies’ attachment, which can be found in the Buyer Attachments area within ITT14721 of project code 6781, the tender for Engineering and Technical Consultancy. The services may encompass a range of engineering related roads and structures consultancy services, primarily in relation to work generally associated with the subject matter of the contract. The following services are the principal services for this lot and tenderers must offer at least 1of these services in Lot 1 Roads and Structures to be considered for this lot; Please note that failure to offer for at least 1 of these principal services will result in your offer for Lot 1 not being considered. — Roads; — Bridges, Road Related Structures and Quay Walls; — Public Realm; — Cycleway and Footpath; — Roads Drainage; — Coastal and Marine Structures. The following are additional services that may be required within this lot, it is not mandatory that tenderers offer any of these services; — Road/Street Lighting and Electrical Design; — Water Supply. The services may encompass a range of engineering related transportation and traffic consultancy services, primarily in relation to work generally associated with the subject matter of the contract. The following services are the principal services for this lot and tenderers must offer at least 1 of these services in Lot 2 Transportation and Traffic to be considered for this lot; Please note that failure to offer for at least 1 of these principal services will result in your offer for lot 2 not being considered. — Traffic and Transport Modelling and Analysis; — Traffic Surveys; — STAG Appraisals. The following are additional services that may be required within this lot, it is not mandatory that tenderers offer any of these services; — Traffic Management Schemes; — Transportation Planning; — Transport Assessment; — Travel Planning; — Road Safety Audits & AIP; — Traffic Orders; — Traffic Signals; — Development Control, Management and Planning; — Parking Studies and Parking Management; — Waterborne Transport; — Freight and Logistics Studies; — Public Transport Planning and Scheme Development; — Assessment of Street Engineering Reviews and Quality Audits; — Active Travel (walking, cycling). The services may encompass a range of engineering related environmental consultancy services, primarily in relation to work generally associated with the subject matter of the contract. The following services are the principal services for this lot and tenderers must offer at least 1 of these services in Lot 3 Environmental Engineering to be considered for this lot; Please note that failure to offer for at least 1 of these principal services will result in your offer for Lot 3 not being considered. — Environmental Impact Assessments; — Environmental Surveys, Assessments and Studies; — Noise and Vibration; — Water Quality; — Ecology and Biodiversity Studies; — Habitat Surveys. The following are additional services that may be required within this lot, it is not mandatory that tenderers offer any of these services; — Landscape Architecture; — Air Quality. The services may encompass a range of engineering related land surveying consultancy services, primarily in relation to work generally associated with the subject matter of the contract. The following services are the principal services for this lot and tenderers must offer at least one of these services in Lot 4 Land Surveying to be considered for this lot; Please note that failure to offer for at least 1 of these principal services will result in your offer for lot 4 not being considered. — Topographical Surveys; — Hydrographic Surveys. The following are additional services that may be required within this lot, it is not mandatory that tenderers offer any of these services; — Building Facade Surveysl; — Aerial Surveys. The services may encompass a range of engineering related drainage and flooding consultancy services, primarily in relation to work generally associated with the subject matter of the contract. The following services are the principal services for this lot and tenderers must offer at least 1 of these services in Lot 5 Drainage & Flooding to be considered for this lot; Please note that failure to offer for at least 1 of these principal services will result in your offer for lot 5 not being considered. — Catchment Modeling and Analysis; — Flooding Studies; — Flood Prevention Schemes; — Hydrology; — Hydraulic Modeling and Analysis; — Data Capture, Watercourse, Weather, Asset, Flow monitoring; — Drainage Impact Assessments; — SuDS; — Requirements emerging from the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009. The following are additional services that may be required within this lot, it is not mandatory that tenderers offer any of these services; — Drainage Area Planning; — Integrated Water Planning; — Sewer/watercourse Design; — Dams and Reservoirs Engineering; — Model Audits. The services may encompass a range of engineering related geotechnical and testing consultancy services, primarily in relation to work generally associated with the subject matter of the contract. The following services are the principal services for this lot and tenderers must offer at least 1 of these services in Lot 6 Geotechnical and Testing to be considered for this lot; Please note that failure to offer for at least 1 of these principal services will result in your offer for lot 6 not being considered. — Geotechnical; — Geo-Environmental (including Part IIA Inspections); — Hydrogeology; — Site Sampling and Testing; — Scientific Services. The following are additional services that may be required within this lot, it is not mandatory that tenderers offer any of these services; — Geotechnical Warrant Appraisals. The services may encompass a range of engineering related project management consultancy services, primarily in relation to work generally associated with the subject matter of the contract. The following services are the principal services for this lot and tenderers must offer at least 1 of these services in Lot 7 Project Management to be considered for this lot; Please note that failure to offer for at least 1 of these principal services will result in your offer for lot 7 not being considered. — Project Management; — Project Support.
