Tender description

Appointment of Integrated Consultancy Team for Village Improvement Scheme. The Economic Operator shall provide the following Services to deliver a village Improvement scheme for numerous villages/towns throughout Mid Ulster. The commission is for the appointment of a project manager led multi-disciplinary Consultancy team to prepare, and develop designs to concept design stage and to prepare an Economic Appraisal to meet the requirements of the Northern Ireland Guide to Expenditure Appraisal and Evaluation (DFP Oct 2009) to secure funding from the Rural Development Programme (RDP). Professional services to be provided must include the services of a Project Manager, Landscape Architect, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Quantity Surveyor and Principal Designer. The proposed Village Improvement works will include Environmental Improvements, re-surfacing, drainage, signage, planting, street furniture, play-park provision, lighting (including festive lighting) and potential art work locations. An NEC3 Professional Services Contract will be used to provide the services. The proposed date for completion of the Works is March 2019.
