The purpose of this advert is to alert the market to a potential contract opportunity to provide Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) with a service for return interviews for children and young people who have been missing from home or care and to provide direct work with some of these young people who have been identified as at risk of sexual exploitation and to invite expressions of interest from potential providers. We will be holding a provider event regarding this opportunity between 9.30 – 11.30 on Friday 4th of November 2016 at CPDC, Foster Road, Trumpington, Cambridge. The Council’s minimum requirements for this service are: - To provide return home interviews for children and young people with a missing episode within 72 hours of that child or young person returning to their home/care placement. - To record details of each missing episode - To liaise with Social Care units, Localities, multi-agency taskforces and other professionals. - Record absent episodes. - Provide direct work to a select group of children and young people at risk of or experiencing child sexual exploitation - Provider CCC with data about these services. - To provide the above services 7 days a week.
