Tender description
Calderdale Council is recommissioning its Short Term Housing Related Support Services for adults and young people. These services support the Council’s statutory Housing, Homelessness and Wellbeing duties by supporting people at risk of homelessness to secure and maintain tenancies, access health and wellbeing support and develop skills and confidence to live independently and achieve the outcomes they want. They include the following current provision: - Generic Adult Floating Support Service - Generic Offender/Ex-offender Floating Support - Young Persons Homelessness Prevention and Support - Supported Lodgings for Young People The event will enable potential providers and wider stakeholders to help shape and inform the future delivery of services, which will be retendered in early 2017 to allow new contracts to be in place from 1st September 2017. A Market & Stakeholder Engagement event will be held on Wednesday 2nd November 2016, 10am–12.30pm, Shay Stadium, Halifax, HX1 2YT.
