Runnymede and Spelthorne are two separate Councils that are into partnership on a Joint Procurement and Management Agreement for the Councils’ Asset Maintenance. The two Councils are among the eleven district councils within the Surrey County and together with Surrey County Council they provide local government services to over one million people. The Building Services department of Runnymede is responsible for managing the procured works contracts and services contracts for the maintenance of Spelthorne assets. Spelthorne intends to seek the services of a contractor to carry out improvement works in two shopping parades located in the Borough of Spelthorne Council which have suffered from many years of neglect which result in poor appearance thereby creating negative impression to shopper and deter interest in the particular retail community. The parades are: a) Edinburgh Drive, Staines-upon-Thames TW18 1PZ b) Groveley Road, Sunbury TW16 7JZ
