Tender description
Bristol City Council, on behalf of the West of England Authorities (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol City, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire council’s); is seeking to run a Soft Market Testing Exercise (SMTE) for Real Time Information (RTI) system contract. Spend for a potential contract is anticipated to be circa £5m over a period of 10 years. There are currently 10 bus operators participating in the real time information system. These are Abus, Bath Bus Company, Carmel Coaches, Crossville Motor Services, CT Coaches, Faresaver, First West of England, Severnside Transport, Stagecoach West and Wessex (part of the Rotala Group).
