Tender description
Durham County Council will shortly be tendering to establish a provider panel of suitable organisations to support activities with young people and families using our One Point centres. An initial tender exercise, commencing in early 2017, will establish a panel of capable providers, from whom specific programmes and activities will then be commissioned. The scope of activities may include: • Speech and language • Physical movement and activity • “Fun days” and similar engagement activities • School readiness, including play and learning • Emotional support, counselling, and anger management • Nutrition, healthy eating and lifestyle choices • SEND advice and support • Youth work including teen parents, outdoor activity, NEET engagement.
