Tender description

The Environment Agency is required to replenish areas of the River Nene’s bank, previously protected by stone. The material shall be natural stone of good quality, uniform in texture, free from iron banks, spots, sand holes, shakes and other imperfections. The material shall have a mean density of not less than 2,400kg/m³ and be crushed with 95% of the pieces falling within the size range of 300-800mm. 50% of the pieces shall fall within the size range 300-500mm.
