Tender description

In Hammersmith and Fulham's 2015/16 Commissioning Intentions we signalled our intention to commission a Community Dermatology GPwSI and Minor Surgery service that meets our population needs, is delivered to a high quality standard and provided closer to our patient's homes. In order to refine our commissioning approach for the service, develop a innovative model and inform the development of our service specification NHS Hammersmith and Fulham CCG is engaging early with potential service providers. The aim of this early market engagement exercise is to also gauge potential interest in this opportunity and field for innovative proposals to improve local provision. There is currently a mixed provision for Dermatology and Minor surgery services within Hammersmith and Fulham comprising of hospital based services and a community run service. The CCG anticipates awarding a contract for 3 years to the appointed provider with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the CCG's discretion. The expected service commencement date is early summer 2017. The annual value of the contract is estimated to be a block contract valued at circa 307 000 GBP per annum. As mentioned all information and the estimated contract value may change, and increase if a collaboration between neighbouring CCG's does go ahead.
