Independent Living Support Sheltered Housing. Services offer vulnerable adults including older people support to maintain and/or develop skills that will empower them in their every-day lives to manage all practical aspects of daily living to include: setting up and maintaining the home to achieve resettlement and help to maintain positive health and well-being. Contracts awarded under Public Contract Regulations 2015 Regulation 32 (2) (b) (iii) because the services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for the protection of exclusive rights and no reasonable alternative or substitute exists and the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement. There is no artificial narrowing down of the parameters of procurement as any sheltered scheme provider could provide this service for eligible service users. The service is to be provided by a range of providers at 34 sheltered housing schemes.
