It is anticipated that Lot 9 (Cardiac Markers) will include POCT analysers and any associated consumables which will identify various cardiac markers, allowing diagnosis of acute coronary symptoms via analysis of the patient's blood. It is anticipated that Lot 10 (Multi Test Systems) will include POCT analysers and any associated consumables, reagents or IT software which can produce real-time results from a range of testing areas. It is anticipated that Lot 10 (Single Test Systems) will include POCT analysers/meter which is able to analyse the sample for one parameter only with a low throughput. It is anticipated that Lot 12 (Interfacing and Connectivity) will include IT software to allow Participating Authorities to connect POCT systems running within primary and secondary care and extending outside into the wider community.
