Tender description

The core part of our business involves building up a collection of data for a project. This data is then added to, manipulated and queried to generate reports. This database system is mission-critical and is in need of updating to improve performance and for future-proofing. The system structure was developed about 7 years ago by an in-house resource that is no longer available. We have recently migrated the system and structure to a SQL2014 / Access 2013 format. Additionally, most IT functions are currently outsourced and MJ Medical staff have limited technical/developer abilities. MJ Medical are looking to establish a relationship with a developer or development agency that will initially upgrade and optimise database performance and in the longer-term produce updates and support to this system. Such a system will need to operate within the confines of the existing technology set and, crucially, within the limits of our staff skill set.
