Countywide Infrastructure Services to be delivered by a Countywide Infrastructure Organisation (CIO)

Tender description

Leicestershire County Council is seeking to re-tender its contract for Countywide Infrastructure Services to provide effective, targeted support for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Leicestershire. The successful contractor will provide these services under the title of the Countywide Infrastructure Organisation. This support will; enable the VCS to influence policy making and service delivery, help local VCS groups to develop and thrive, encourage collaboration in order to increase VCS involvement in the delivery of public services, and facilitate support for volunteers and volunteering. The Contract will be delivered via an agreed work programme that is focused on delivering against the following Contract Priorities and Requirements. The work programme will be subject to review on an annual basis during the period of the contract.
