Tender description

This contract is for the appointment a single Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorised fund management company with the ability to deliver the following services on behalf of the Authority: 1. Fund management activity undertaken in relation to the Finance Durham Fund for Years 1 to 3 (with a possibility of annual extensions for up to a further two years). 2. Provision of access to finance (A2F) business support activity for Years 1 to 3 (with a possibility of annual extensions for up to a further two years). 3. Assistance and support to Durham County Council (DCC) in relation to setting up a new DCC owned FCA regulated fund management company (NEWCO). It is the intention of the Authority that NEWCO undertakes the fund management activity associated with the management of the Finance Durham Fund from year 3 onwards.
