Consultative engineering and construction services

Tender description

The NPS is undertaking this procurement on behalf of the Local Authorities in the South West Wales Region in order to establish a framework of pre-qualified and suitably experienced consulting engineers to enable the participating local authorities to procure a full range of engineering related services to meet their specific needs. The services will be fully defined in the Contract Notice and tender documentation. The participating authorities are committed to contributing to the social, economic and environmental well-being of the wider community through the application of Community Benefits. Accordingly, the successful suppliers will be expected to include some measures when delivering the project. The participating authorities are: Carmarthenshire County Council. Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. City and County of Swansea. Pembrokeshire County Council. Ceredigion County Council. To establish a framework agreement to deliver high quality services in the fields of highways, structures and transportation engineering to include project management, technical advice, design, technical surveys, construction management and management of services. Areas of expertise are listed in the attachment and a selection of these skills may be brought together to suit the needs of any particular project. The services will relate to work within the South West Wales Region as defined in the tender documents.
