Construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition — a call for competition may be placed within the next 12 months. South Dublin County Council intends to invite submissions for the Development of Rapid Build Project of 85 unit two storey housing project on St. Aidan's site using design build contract. The contract may be let in one single contract, or tendered as two separate contracts subject to full evaluation prior to tender. Contractors will be required to design and construct the dwellings and site infrastructure on an accelerated delivery program, using supplied layout drawings developed to preliminary design and planning consent stage. Participation in the competition will be subject to qualification. The proposals consists of: New access off Brookfield Road, landscaping works. The housing provision includes two storey houses primarily grouped in terraces, or semi-detached layout. Project time table: December 2017 completion.
