Sandwell Council invites the services of a Conservation Architect in relation to the development stage for a HLF round 2 submission in February 2017 for the restoration of West Smethwick Park, and subject to a successful award, detail specifications between Sept 2017 – April 2018 and supervision of the works on site. between Sept 2018 and Nov 2019 A brief description of the areas for consideration within this project are:-- • Restoration of the grade2 listed Chance memorial, • Chance fountain • Entrance piers and gates and design of new railings adjacent to match.
