Who Speclialist Work With Lead Business Analyst, change portfolio team, wider transformation programme and business stakeholders. What Specialists Work On A BA who can work with a key business area within the department, which includes policy and operational responsibilities, to achieve a deep understanding of their internal, user-facing services as part of a business transformation programme. Your primary interest will be on the information and technology aspects of their activity and in particular the migration of users from one system to another. This will involve working with business users, and senior stakeholders to understand and map their processes, defining requirements, identifying information and data dependencies and coordinating this work with other business analysts and the wider project and programme teams Where the Work Takes Place 2 Marsham Street London SW1P 4DF. Travel to other sites may be required. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Full time Office Hours with some travel for engagement meetings in the UK. T&S will not be payable for travel to sites within the M25. Travel outside of the M25 will be subject to HO T&S policy. Work Location 2 Marsham Street London SW1P 4DF. Travel to other sites may be required. Security Clearance Minimum SC on arrival. DV a bonus, as per assessment criteria below. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience •Must hold at least one of the following professional qualifications: IIBA Level 3 – CBAP BCS Advanced Diploma in Business Analysis BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis •2+ years’ prior experience of BPMN process mapping and process re-engineering •Experience of defining detailed transitional requirements addressing business critical data dependencies supporting in-flight users migrating from one system to another. •Experience of working in a range of project delivery environments, with targets set and reviewed on a weekly basis •The people skills to work with senior stakeholders to secure access to interviewees in their working environment •Strong workshop facilitation skills •Ability to develop domain expertise quickly •Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and a positive approach •Ability to think creatively and articulate innovative ideas to solving complex business problems •Ability to evaluate information and present it, both written and oral, in a way that is easily understood by the target audience •Ability to own issues and drive them to resolution by providing direction to inform sound business decisions based on business priority and technical feasibility •Ability to identify and raise project dependencies, whilst working in a wider team with multiple projects in-flight •Actively contribute to the business analysis community of practice Nice to Haves •Prior experience of working in a government setting •Offer wider team support through sharing of professional expertise •Experience of SharePoint 2013 •Experience of business process change associated with the introduction of increased mobile and digital capabilities •Developed Vetting security clearance No. of Specialists to Evaluate 5 Cultural Fit Criteria •Demonstrate commitment to excellence and improvement, for example through seeking actionable feedback and setting targets •Show a commitment to ensuring a team understands the user need over simply delivering work, whilst recognising wider demands and influences on delivery •Transparent and collaborative when making decisions and recommendations •Demonstrate courage in an professional manner •Demonstrate responsibility in an appropriate and professional manner •Demonstrate enthusiasm (for example, bring whole self to work, celebrate success, share passion and energy with others, optimistic, and be positive) Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers No questions have been answered yet Budget range £550 for an exceptional candidate
