010 Golborne Railway Bridge Concrete Soffit Repairs 2016-17

Tender description

The works will comprise of carrying out a full delamination survey to confirm the areas to be repaired, breaking out of all defective concrete elements and the removal and disposal of this material, preparation of the substrate and any exposed reinforcement, cementitious concrete repair mortar to be undertaken to all defective concrete using Natural Cement Natcem 35 or (equal approved) suitable for low temperature application and crack repairs carried out using Natural Cement Waterstop or (equal approved) as a sealing cap over cracks suitable for low temperature application.This will then be sealed by the installation of Carbon Fibre strengthening sheet impregnated insitu with a resin system (wet lay up) The structural concrete soffit repair works will need to be carried out during the following dates (Saturday night / Sunday Morning) of railway possessions obtained from Network Rail.
