UK SBS FWRECR16036A - ATI (Aerospace R&D funding): Process Evaluation

Tender description

This specification is primarily focused on undertaking a process evaluation of aerospace R&D funding to provide early evidence of ‘what works’, evidence of some of the emerging benefits of the programme, and provide early lessons for programme delivery. This comprises two stages: • Stage One – an evaluation of the internal processes used by BIS, ATI and IUK to: select and prioritise projects; undertake technical feasibility and value for money assessments; and allocate funding; • Stage Two - early implementation review to understand companies’ motivation and experience of applying for, receiving and using ATI funding, successes and barriers to implementing ATI projects; and the early activities and outputs from implementation.
