Tender description

Hampshire County Council have taken the decision to explore the idea of seeking organisations to deliver domiciliary care services, commencing April 2018. The objective will be to both build on the successes of our current arrangements under Care at Home and apply, where applicable, lessons learnt by the Council into any new arrangements. Any future partners would be expected to: — Deliver services across the County Council area — Work with the Council to shape our domiciliary care services — Engage with the Council to accept new clients — Potentially to cover; - zonally based services - specialist domiciliary care services - domiciliary care services that complement other existing services - Re-ablement services - out of hours domiciliary services — this opportunity may include the requirements of the NHS — Provide and/or subcontract for the above This list is not exhaustive and may be amended or include other elements as a result of broader market engagement. The Council is currently exploring it's options regarding the best route to market, including considering the use of lots to meet the requirements. As such the Council can not confirm if the contract will contain lots at this point. Details will be confirmed in the contract notice when the opportunity is advertised.
