Provision of a Professional Pharmaceutical Service and Supply of Medicines to St Clare's Hospice, Hastingwood, Harlow, Essex

Tender description

West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking a provider to deliver pharmaceutical advice and support to St Clare's Hospice, Hastingwood, Harlow in a manner similar to that provided by a directorate pharmacist to a ward or service within a hospital environment. The successful Provider is required to recognise that high quality health care is multi-disciplinary and can only be delivered through good working relationships with the Hospice’s and Commissioner’s staff. The Provider’s Pharmacist shall be a member of the Hospice Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) and shall attend twice weekly meetings of the MDT as arranged by the Hospice, and undertake ward rounds as requested by the Hospice. In addition, the Provider shall contribute to patient health care by developing sound working relationships with Hospice clinical staff.
