Tender description

National Framework for the Scottish Public Sector for the provision of a fully managed service for Post/Mail. The framework will comprise of 2 Lots with each Lot being awarded to a single supplier. The Lots are for Physical and Off Site Hybrid mail and Scheduled/Regular Bulk Mail (Print and Post). The routine collection of physical mail, from all participating Scottish Public Sector organisations, and delivery to the addressee on a 2+ day service (UK wide) or a next day service (for Scottish central belt postcodes only). Hybrid mail is a service that allows users to develop their mail format and content on their desktop and then issue the soft letter to a mail production site whereby the item will be securely produced, prepared for posting and delivered to the addressee. Production and delivery of scheduled or regular bulk mailings. The mailings will be achieved via the secure transfer of address and data files to an off-site print location where the mail will then be printed, sorted and passed for delivery to the final destination. This includes but is not limited to: — Health screening letters, generic health messaging, appointment letters, council tax notices, campaigns and communications.
