Hackney Council wish to establish a framework agreement with a provider(s) for the provision of Direct Action associated with the Planning Enforcement process (and potentially other areas such as Private Sector Housing). This work forms part of an extensive and holistic approach to enforcement and is for the resolution of cases where remedial works have to be instructed by the Authority as a result of non-compliance with notices or court orders. The work may include extensive building works, usually of a demolition nature and making good and the value of those works can vary greatly. The objective of the Prior Information Notice is to give prospective suppliers the opportunity to help Hackney Council test the market and refine its vision, so that the specification produced for any future procurement is both deliverable, whilst also taking advantage of developments in the marketplace that will benefit both customers and enforcement operations.
