Tender description

The City of Wolverhampton Council shall be commissioning a support service under the Home Office Syrian Vulnerable Person Resettlement (VPR) Programme. It is our intention to resettle approximately twenty (20) people per year for the next 5 years within the City of Wolverhampton. In brief the provider shall provide the following service: Provision of suitable furnished accommodation Provision of interpretation and translation General Orientation — promoting independence Support Planning Key working Identified housing is fit for purpose Housing related support Referral to Health Care — including access to Primary and Secondary care Access to Education — both adults and children Assessment and delivery of ESOL by an accredited provider. Benefits Advice Maximising Employment and Training opportunities Wellbeing Care and support — Clothing, food, including integration into local communities, access to leisure facilities and or social groups Referral to relevant organisation to meet the identified needs of the service user.
