Tender description

Bath and North East Somerset has a requirement for additional Alternative Education Provision for primary and secondary school pupils. The Local Authority currently has a contract for alternative education provision which supplies 23 places in Bath, however its has been recognised that this is not sufficient for the local area. The need to increase capacity to 50 places was identified in the Behaviour Strategy 2015. Primary Alternative Education Provision for a minimum of 6 pupils in key stages 1 and 2. Ideally the provision will have the flexibility to increase capacity to 10 pupils if required and be located in the Keynsham area and ideally situated in, or close to a primary school. Secondary Alternative Education Provision for a minimum of 12 secondary pupil places in Key stages 3 and 4. Ideally the provision will have flexibility to increase if required up to 15 places and be located in the Norton Radstock area, either on a school site or close to local secondary schools in the area.
