Tender description

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, working with Bradford CCGs has established a framework for the provision of Integrated Residential and Nursing Care services to adults across the Bradford District. The purpose of the framework will be the delivery of care and support to older people and adults with support needs relating to learning disabilities, mental health and/or physical disabilities in a residential setting. The framework will run from 17.10.2016 for 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year, subject to satisfactory contract performance and the Council having the need and funding available. All values and figures quoted are indicative. The aim of the services to be tendered through this lot will be to provide the delivery of accommodation and personal care to people who are not able to live independently. The aim of the services to be tendered through this lot will be to provide the delivery of accommodation and personal care to people who are not able to live independently and the provision of 24 hour medical care available from a registered nurse, to people who have significant difficultly coping with the required activities of daily living. The aim of the services to be tendered through this lot will be to provide the delivery of accommodation and personal care to people who are not able to live independently, with a focus on enabling people to regain sufficient independence to move back into the Community. These services will primarily be targeted at people with learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities and/or autism and other complex or challenging behaviours.
