A unique housing Group, Torus combines the very best of two local, community led landlords. Sound governance, a strong asset base and significant financial capacity enables us to do more. To provide more opportunities for the communities we serve, build more new homes and enhance the services we provide to our tenants and customers. On 1.4.2015, Golden Gates Housing Trust (GGHT) based in Warrington and Helena Partnerships based in St. Helen's entered into a Group Structure to form the Torus Group. Torus Group seeks to procure suitably qualified supply chain partner(s) to provide an integrated multidisciplinary range of Hard and Soft Facilities Management services for a maximum of seven years with a contract range of 3 000 000 GBP — 10 000 000 GBP. The initial contract duration is three years from 1st April 2017 with options to extend twice subject to satisfactory performance, each time for two years until 31.3.2024. Torus Group intend to award a contract for a period of 7 years (3 years + 2 years + 2 years) for hard Facilities Management services. Typical buildings that come under this management would be: Head Office buildings/local offices, Works depots, High rise units, Sheltered Accommodation Homes, Satellite offices, Communal areas. Torus Group requires all applicants to conform to SFG20 service specification as a minimum requirement. Hard facilities will include (but is not limited to): building fabric maintenance, air conditioning maintenance, lift servicing and maintenance, M&E plant maintenance, fire safety system and security maintenance, water control, RAMS/H&S. Torus Group intend to award a contract for a period of 7 years (3 years + 2 years + 2 years) soft Facilities Management services. Typical buildings that come under this management would be: Head Office buildings/local offices, Works depots, High rise units, Sheltered Accommodation Homes, Satellite offices, Communal areas. Typical Facilities Management services can be split into two categories of hard and soft facilities. Soft facilities will include (but is not limited to): Cleaning, Recycling, Waste collection/disposal, Building security, Handyman services, Hygiene services, Water Coolers, Grounds Maintenance, Caretaker Services.
