C/178/IT/16/SR - Evolve Infrastructure Refresh The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large district General Hospital. The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wishes to replace an existing conventional Hypervisor Cluster which currently hosts our key Electronic Patient records application called Evolve. The replacement is part of our established hardware lifecycle replacement scheme and provides a unique opportunity to leverage modern infrastructure systems that have a software-centric orientated architecture. Hyper-converged solutions with storage and hypervisor combination lend themselves ideally to this requirement. The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to carry out an Invitation to Quote further competition exercise in accordance with the Crown Commercial Services Framework RM1054 for Technology Products. Lot 1: Technology Hardware. Lot 1 covers the provision of vendor neutral hardware. Hardware solutions can also be procured. The scope covers end user computing and infrastructure. When procuring a solution, software can be provided under this lot provided the hardware forms the majority of the requirement. The contract is for a 5 year duration.
