Tender description

The overarching aim is for the Environmental Enforcement Service to undertake high profile foot patrols enforcing against offences such as littering, dog fouling, fly tipping and to issue fixed penalty notices to individuals observed as committing such offences. The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SME's). For the avoidance of doubt, the contracting authority points out that no weight will be attached to whether or not an economic operator is an SME in selecting economic operators to submit tenders or in assessing the most economically advantageous tender. The overarching aim is for the Environmental Enforcement Service to undertake high profile foot patrols enforcing against offences such as littering, dog fouling, fly tipping and to issue fixed penalty notices to individuals observed as committing such offences. This is a pilot scheme with an anticipated period of 12 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months. The time-scales and values given in this notice are estimations only and the Council gives no guarantee or warranty or makes any representation as to the accuracy of any indicative volumes. Values in this notice include the option to extend.
