Tender description
LaunchPad is a Sheffield City Region (SCR) wide Start-up and New Business Development project funded by European Structural Investment Funds (ESIF), the Local Authorities, Princes Trust and the SCR Growth Fund. It aims to increase economic growth through fostering the development of new and sustainable growth businesses across the whole of the SCR, through specialist 1:1 advice, business workshops and business mentoring. The project works closely with the SCR Growth Hub and business community to identify pre-start and early stage businesses with growth potential. The LaunchPad project is led by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (BMBC) and Doncaster Council are responsible for the roll out and development of an established business mentoring programme (currently named Doncaster 100) into a SCR wide service. This Volunteer mentor programme will underpin the support and advice to businesses provided through the LaunchPad. Please note that the Mentoring service is not included.
