Tender description

NPL requires a Battery Test Facility with at least 4 channels, each having voltammetry/impedance capability. The default maximum current per channel is 5A, with an optional higher current capability desirable on one channel. We require the ability to characterise performance and lifetime of batteries using such a test system. The test facility will be capable of accurately measuring charge and discharge curves, cycle capacity, state of charge and state of health (via impedance spectroscopy) not only for Li-ion batteries but also other emerging battery chemistries. Document access. Suppliers MUST register with Due north to access the Procurement documents. All communications must be routed through Due North. Suppliers communicating outside of the Eprocurement portal may not be included.
